| - We came here for Stephanie's birthday!
This was my first time here...it was really quiet! I was a little worried since we were the only ones here, but the food was pretty good!
I shared the Meat Combination (Beef Kabob, Kafta, Mqaniq, Sujuk and kibbi) with rice and grilled tomatoes :

The Sujuk + Kafta were my favs...and there was plenty of meats to share! I know I wouldn't have been able to eat this all by myself! Some of the meats were a little boring though for Mediterranean food...usually there are so much spices, oils, and herbs that you get taste explosions!
The fresh hot pita bread was great...and it went well with the Labni Matoom :

Which is dry yogurt mixed w/ garlic, mint & a sprinkle of olive oil. It was a good dipping sauce for the bread. Thanks for letting us try it Vanessa :)
And to finish, we tried the Shabiet :

Which is layers of filo pastry stuffed with our milk custard, Topped with honey and crushed pistachios. Different...good! Slightly similar to baklava, but more fluffy and lighter...not as saturated with honey. Yum.
I've definitely had better in town, but this is a good place to check out if you are nearby.
