  • We ordered new bedroom furniture for our daughters 5th birthday. We place order 6 weeks in advance of when we wanted it delivered for her birthday. We scheduled delivery date. We were called the night before as promised for delivery window to be 10-1pm which was fine. Driver called 10 min prior to arrival at just before 1pm. Unfortunately, the media chest was scratched and the captain bed was delivered with 2 left sides so they couldn't put it together. I was happy that the driver noted the scratch himself and let me know they would take it back as well as need to come back with correct part for the bed. He said they would have to schedule delivery btw 5-10pm if I wanted same day. Since I had no bed for my dtr to sleep in and because I had hoped this to be a birthday surprise when she came home from school, I was extremely disappointed. I called the delivery center myself after the driver left to confirm delivery time and explain my situation and ask if anyone could come sooner. I was told not only that they couldn't come sooner but there is no such delivery time as 5-10pm and that my new delivery time was scheduled for 8-MIDNIGHT and that driver would call at least 30min prior. We called delivery center at 7pm to Ask if they had a better idea of delivery time and was told 10:30pm. We decided to go out to dinner. We rec'd a call from the driver and delivery center at the same time at 8pm stating driver would be there in 10min so raced home to meet them. The furniture was then setup and we are happy with what we received and the quality of the furniture but very dissatisfied with the delivery and customer service especially when the company advertises ability for same day delivery, I felt they could have done a better job of rectifying the situation. If we were told that they would rearrange things to ensure our delivery of our completed order sooner in the day, or at least been able to give a better time frame, or been offered anything for the delay it would have been appreciated.
