  • I've been to EWC a few times - but this was my first visit to this location. I called to book an appointment and was thrilled to get one within just a of couple hours. Receptionist wasn't the warmest over the phone, but it didn't really phase me at first. Upon arrival I couldn't find their location for the life of me, I ended up calling to ask what they were next to - which was not a help at all.. So for the record they are facing West, a few doors right of Smiths if you're looking at the Smiths entrance.. Anyways, I had Jessie - she was fantastic. Very sweet and knowledgeable. I've had my eyebrows waxed about a thousand times, but never before had someone who explained step by step their process and truly cared about being precise with your expectations. She was educational and not pushy about product, which I totally respect and appreciate. I will absolutely be booking with her again for future visits. There was a different receptionist when I was leaving, who didn't exactly give the best vibes - even more so than the first.. I mentioned I had received a coupon for a complimentary eyebrow wax and it seemed to annoy her.. I hate to be the "client with a coupon" - but last time I checked this was a corporation, and they do so to gain clientele.. Which, look - it worked!! Just moved to the area, received a coupon, tried it out and Jessie has my business from now on. So not really sure why I instantly received the cold treatment, when this does not impact a receptionists pay? She then attempted to sell me their waxing packages, which I will add are great if you're into that. But it was extremely awkward, like I was obligated instead of a casual conversation and simply voicing the facts, she would just point to prices and not say anything.. Yet when I said I wasn't interested in forking out a couple hundred dollars - and I'm not a contract type of girl, I wing it.. The annoyance and frustration came out on her end with a "well are you leaving gratuity??" comment. Um.. Yes. Rude. Bottom line: These 4 stars are solely for Jessie. I would've given 5 if it wasn't for the reception area.
