  • Uber has a lovely surcharge during peak hours that took my normal ride from $15 or so to $92.99 last night, because the "demand was so high". What a joke. These ride share things are supposed to be an easy and inexpensive way to get around. I will never use uber again. I could have saved myself probably close to $50 or more by dealing with a yellow cab. I understand up charging for peak times or holidays but almost $100 for a cab to take me 7 miles is unacceptable.
