| - To be honest, I rarely write negative reviews for businesses (you can view my profile). I came here regarding some skin issues. However, when I went to their office, I really felt as if I was just a dollar sign to the business.
During my entire appointment with Dr. Greenberg (which was very short), there was an additional person in the room who's entire purpose was to sell you additional services when the appointment was over. When you go to see a doctor, you really don't want to have a salesperson in the room. After the doctor left, I was taken to a separate room where this person upsold spa services that I wasn't interested in. This salesperson spent more time with me than the doctor.
After you leave the room where you are sold spa services and go to pay, they say they will fill your prescriptions at their in-house pharmacy. I asked them if it was a better deal to just get it filled at costco and they said I'd have to wait and ask the pharmacist. The pharmacist shows up with everything filled before I even said I wanted to buy it here. I told her she could just fax the prescription to Costco and she got kind of upset and left. Later, when I got the prescription filled at Costco, one item at costco was $18, whereas at their inhouse pharmacy was going to charge $34. This is an 88% markup.
Regardless, I left this experience feeling bad like I wasn't even a person but rather just some object to take money from. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone I've ever met.
I have money to spend and don't mind spending money, but I don't like being treated as if that is my only value.
The only positive is that Dr. Greenberg was actually nice, however I didn't like my experience there at all. I cancelled my follow up appointment and will never return.
--- Update ---
I want to add that Dr. Greenberg seems very competent at practicing dermatology and his office runs like a well oiled machine, but his business doesn't seem like a doctor's office.
