I'm shocked that Joe Fresh hasn't invaded the States yet. Their clothes are cuter than the Gap's and about half the price. And I'm not worried that they're going to disintegrate in the wash like H&M's threads.
On a recent visit I grabbed like 15 things to try on. No item limit in the fitting rooms means no time wasted switching stuff in and out. If it's available the clerk will let you have the "best room in the house"; the extra-wide fitting room for the disabled that's as big as my first studio apartment in Manhattan.
I ended up buying 7 items, including a cute fall jacket, for a grand total of $120. Most of their t-shirts and cotton tops are $10-$16.
The staff is laid-back and not hovering over you so you can browse in peace.
Check out their website to preview their clothes. If you have even moderately good taste you will like what you see.
