So against what I said my boyfriend decided to go here when I told him he needed to go to my dental office but being the groupon lover he is he found what he believed was a special... HA! Not even! So I decided to go with him, check it out, see if it was worth all the fuss. They gave him a treatment plan that was outrageous! Thousands and thousands of dollars and then offered a 10% discount for cash. It just didn't feel right and he admitted he thought it seemed like a joke. He knew he needed work but not to that dollar amount. Honestly we took it home and called a friend of mine in the dental field and asked about a bunch of these codes for the treatment recommended, half of them weren't legit and they were additional services to services he was already getting done that should be inclusive. Socket clean out? I mean come on you are already extracting the tooth, placing a bone graph with tissue... what are you cleaning out??? I called my dental office and asked them as well if they charged something like this and she was like no not at all it's all included with the extraction and bone graph and the manager told me she has been in the dental field since 2006 and never actually heard of an office charging for a socket clean out. She was polite and said that every doctor has their own protocols and she wasn't one to judge another offices but I could tell she didn't believe in it either. One visit was enough for my boyfriend to tell me I was right, he should have listened. He won't be back and my advice is listen to word of mouth referrals, don't just look for groupons for stuff to do with your health. THIS IS YOUR HEALTH! Deals shouldn't dictate your well-being. He has now wasted money and time and is no more better than when he started. He has now scheduled with my dentist that I go to and I can't wait to compare the treatment plans. If I am wrong and they are similar I will eat my words but I have this feeling it won't be... One last thing is for what they want to charge I feel like they could use the money to make their office feel/look more modern (I'll be fair not that it's completely not modern but could use some sprucing up)... all round just not the place for my boyfriend.
