  • Is this a bank? Or is it café? The answer is that it is both! Tangerine is a new "Forward Banking" mobile bank that have no bank fees and is under the subsidiaries of Scotiabank so you can use any Scotiabank ATM for free. I enjoyed my visit here today, as my friend recently referred me to open an account, I did so and we are going to both have a bonus of $50! (I think this offer ends end March, usually you get $25 for referrals.) When I walked in, I was greeted by a nice gentleman who offered me a cup of espresso while I was activating my new account. It's not a traditional bank so they don't take cash deposits, and everything was done on an iPad. As seen in my photos, everything in their is orange and you can also come in and talk about banking and enjoy their espresso - they grind their espresso beans and it's quite strong. Coffee is completely free, so feel free to come go in, save money on banking and enjoy some good customer service. Message me if you have any questions!
