I feel like I'm starting to know my way around Pearson really well with the travelling I did last year. I find it fairly easy to get around, there's a lot of way finding and the staff are generally very helpful.
There are a good array of snacks and merchandise to distract you from your wait time, which is always appreciated for a nervous flier like myself.
One of the last times I was flying out of Toronto I managed to miss my flight even though I was in the airport at the time. Yep. I was a wreck. Flying by myself to the States meant having a minor panic attack at my husband over the phone. I managed to calm myself down enough to go to the Air Canada customer service counter and the women working there were so kind. They could tell that I was not doing so well and assured me that they could fit me on the next flight out no problem. It was honestly such a relief to have a kind gesture at that moment.
I've never had any issues at security either - they're friendly and speedy, which is definitely appreciated! I don't have any complaints about this airport, other than my general dislike of airports :P
