Average food experience. My scallops were amazing but my friend's steak was overcooked.
The mini-mall location evoked Cincinnati.
We got the Charlotte treatment for women dining together: initially shown a two top by the kitchen and bar and then seated at a two top while all of the other couples got a table for four. We ran out of room for our apps, salad, and mains bc the two top was pretty small.
The kale salad was sweet, as if they had sugared it. The fried green tomatoes were perfect.
Nolen Kitchen came highly recommended, but in a national context, it was middle of the road. If you want something akin to a Season's 52, with fish available, go here. But do not forget to bring a male companion! It's not just here, just typical Charlotte.
