  • This is a new business. It used to be the Shilla restaurant. I've been really excited to try this place. AYCE sushi AND AYCE Korean BBQ at the same time is unheard of. It's two of my favorite food options together! Anyways, place is very clean. The staff was attentive, but one seemed like she was having the worst day ever. You have the option of doing only one versus two. The price also changes for lunch menu versus all day menu. The have a lot of different appetizer options. We went with shrimp tempura, gyoza, and bacon wrapped asparagus. We wished we had room for the mussels. My only complaint was the tempura and gyoza didn't come with separate sauces. They have a "no rice" section with 3 or 4 choices. I tried the "something special". It includes deep fried eels, spicy tuna, and Cajun sauce wrapped in spy paper. If you like a little kick I recommend trying it. Its texture is different. Their "Tuna Poki" is yummy as well. They use the spicy sesame seed oil, so watch out for the creeping small fire. From the nigiri, I gave the garlic tuna a try. I didn't really care for the dried garlic as the garnish. They used a little more rice than I like, but honestly better than other places. I was sad that they didn't have the super white tuna as a choice, only the albacore tuna. They have the traditional specialty rolls, but a lot of different takes of their own. For instance a bacon roll or the even more intriguing lobster roll. They really should look into doing half rolls. The Korean BBQ side was delicious. They had a lot more varieties of what meats or seafood to BBQ. The dipping sauce was a way too salty though. I was sad they didn't bring out kim chi, only oi muchim. I was happy to find there was no limit for how many short ribs you're able to get. They grilled it for us this time. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert and it was too early for alcohol. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
