What a gem in Toronto! If you are looking for a thoughtful fresh take on French pastry come here.
The neighborhood is awesome, very nice part of town. Had no trouble with street parking and there is a green p parking lot around the corner from here too. Small inside, maybe seating for 8-10 people, so keep that in mind if you're looking to sit down for a bit.
Got the earl grey ice cream, the bella and turtle w/ a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was great. You can tell the chef puts their heart and soul into the food and genuinely cares about their work. For me though the star was the earl grey ice cream - not fatty tasting ice cream, very delicate with just the right amount of tea flavor. Inside is a lemon curd of some sort, it was amazing. A very very thoughtful creation by the chef. I see this kind of elevated ice cream too often, usually it's just simple or some outrageous thing, and it's a big statement of the chef's creativity and craft to pull this off.
