| - Where do I begin? The day I signed my contract I was given the best service and in turn I placed my deposit down to hold my date. At first I thought the place was a little pricey but after researching all of the packages I found it to be decent especially because I was told my deposit would be returned the following business day. The sales pitch they give you is that you don't have to worry about anything except showing up to your event. Boy was I wrong! When I paid off my contract in full 60 days prior I asked Katya (representative) if there was a limit on ounces for the beer cups so that I could purchase them ahead of time. Katya advised me that they provided clear 8oz cups that we could use and that we didn't need to purchase any. Just to double check I asked if they would have enough for 250 guests in case someone wanted ice with their drink. I was assured all would be fine and the hall would be ready for me on the day of my event. Before leaving on this day I scheduled a rehearsal 2 weeks prior to my wedding and asked that the hall be decorated so I can be 100% on my colors. When I showed up for my rehearsal I was told the decorations were never requested by me and that I would need to reschedule for the following week if I wanted to see it decorated. Giving La Princesa another chance I showed up a week later only to find one table decorated. Fine, I let this go too as I had enough stress a week before my wedding. The day of my wedding, I was content in knowing everything would be ready to go and taken care of on La Princesa's end. Immediately after my ceremony at 3:30pm I was bombarded with, there were no cups included with the hall for the beer and the bartender wouldn't arrive until 4:30pm. I asked to speak with Katya right away to see if she would remember our agreement. Katya refused to come speak with me and sent messages that I needed to meet her on the other end of the hall. After the 4th messenger that was sent Katya finally came into the dressing room. Instead of explaining her side of the story she started getting smart mouthed and raised her voice towards me. I don't know about everyone else but for me, I didn't want this type of service on my wedding day, I had enough on my plate. After Katya and I argued about when the bartenders where going to start service and being told they only had 200 cups on hand beer finally started to be served at 4:15pm. Between 3:30pm and 4:15pm my guests sat there twiddling their thumbs. After our rehearsal started I noticed the bartenders eating our food off of our plates, my mother couldn't drink unless she had her ID present but I could walk up and get a beer, of the 4 audio screens only two were working and it didn't play my CD collage. After the rehearsal I made sure to do a walk through and that I was the last guest out of the door. We were to have 2 bottles of champagne leftover but some how one of the staff members placed them in the freezer, one combusted and the other was frozen solid. I spoke to the security guard before leaving to make sure everything was ok, there were no damages, or missing products. I was assured everything was well and was told to follow up with Katya for my deposit. The next morning I found my tap for the kegs broken and missing salsa containers. On the next business day I inquired about my deposit only to find the soonest I would receive this was the following Saturday a week later. This news was not so good as we were depending on our deposit to start our honeymoon. Katya said she would get in touch with Doug the owner to see if it can be released any sooner than Saturday. After an entire week of being told Doug wasn't unavailable, hasn't been seen, or won't be in I received a partial amount of my deposit back with a date of 10/09/14 (Thursday). Not only was my deposit ready as of Thursday and it was now Saturday I was slapped with a fee to remove graffiti on the walls. According to La Princesa it was found the night of the event but I was not made aware of it. If there was damage the night of the event don't you think a customer should be told right away? I also found out that the graffiti was done in a glittery yellow marker that I was accused of having at my guest book. 1) I had a black pen at my guest book, nothing else. 2) I did a walk through and confirmed with Security that there were no issues/damages before leaving for the night. 3) The event scheduled for the next morning was black and gold for a quincenera. Why wait a week to tell me about the graffiti and do you expect me to believe the graffiti was from my event when the next events colors matched the damage? I was not happy to hear this and called the owner Doug off of a different phone only to find he picks right up. I explained everything to Doug from start to finish and was told I was wrong and that he was being very accommodating considering the cost for the repairs. Not what I expected after paying $6,600! If I could give 0 stars I would.
