This place has almost anything a neighborhood could ask for. I've lived in the area for almost two years, and I have no complaints. This is my go-to place for runs during the non-summer months, the place I go to for large group barbecues, the place I go for sports, and the place that allows me to enjoy the outdoors without having to travel to a mountain.
The early mornings are peaceful. You can see all sorts of 'wild' birds like ducks, herons, and pretty multicoloured budgie like creatures.
Cautionary note: I've heard from my neighbours that the park can be a little sketchy at night, but I haven't seen anything for myself. Like anywhere else, just use a bit of discretion on nighttime wanderings.
