When we decided to get Pho at 8:59pm we sadly found out that every single Vietnamese restaraunt closes at nine. Well almost all Viet restaurants, the one place that stays open late is Pho Cao which is open til 2am. (Does Pho Cao get it's name from the great general Cao Cao? We will never know)
On to the food
Pho Tai (Small) $7
- A little pricier then other neighborhood joints
- A lotta broth
- Not much meat or noodles
Cha Gio (4 Imperial Rolls) $5.50
- Just your typical Imperial Roll
- Pork, carrots, vermicelli
- Not bad, not amazing
They have great live music! I thought it was karaoke people at first and thought dayum their pretty good.... then I realized these weren't your typical amateurs~
Overall come for the ambiance and flexibility of Pho Cao's hours and you wont come away dissatisfied.
