Really wanted to like it but It was seriously too moist ! We got the original flavour cheesecake. They put the cake in a cardboard box with cotton cloth and put it in a paper bag (similar to Uncle Tetsu). The cake was too moist that you can feel the moisture through the bottom of the paper bag. We took it home and decided to eat half of the cake fresh and put the other half other cake in the fridge (as we wanted to the try with more pronounced cheese flavour).
Eating it while its still warm and fresh - it was only okay. I felt like i was eating a sponge cake rather than a cheesecake.
Eating it after being put in the fridge - i was hoping the cheese flavour would be more pronounced. but there wasnt actually much difference. its still lacking the cheese flavour.
The price of the cake was $11 plus tax (compare to $8.88 at Uncle Tetsu) Thank god we had a $2 coupon for the cake, I definitely would not want to spend $11 on a "way too moist" sponge cake! I would rather line up for Uncle Tetsu if I ever crave for Japanese cheesecake.
