| - This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. It was falsely advertised to us as a luxury living complex and it was at first, but we were in for a rude awakening.
The pool area and gym are great. The pool is equipped with its own cabanas, gas grills, and games. while the gym is small, its equipment was nice and upgraded. I originally loved our apartment but quickly learned how poorly built it was. As new neighbors moved in around us, we discovered that the walls are paper thin. I've lived in other apartment buildings and I've never heard anything like this. I could hear any step the people above us or to the side of us made. There was also no insulation. For an apartment as small as it was, you had to blast the AC in the summer or heat in the winter to make any kind of temperature change, which resulted in a hefty electric bill. There are two doors that went out to our balcony. If there was even a slight breeze, the apartment would be filled with dust and leaves.
We ended up getting lucky with our surrounding neighbors. They were polite and respectful of our space, but the other neighbors, not so much. In my two+ years living there, I had to call the cops on several occasions. I have woken up to two different brawls in the middle of the night at the pool and have witnessed or heard 3 domestic disputes. Aside from that, there are loud parties almost nightly and people coming in and out at all hours. I work late and have come home to random people trying to break into the gate or even following me up to my apartment. I've had men, who were residents, follow me to my car as I was leaving for work or harass myself and my roommate in the public areas. We were unable to use the amenities due to the neighbors as well, which was really unfortunate because I did love the pool and gym. The last time we decided to BBQ and lay out at the pool, we had a gentleman ask us if we wanted to buy some cocaine and then asked us to share our food with him after we told him to leave us alone. There are also a lot of children. Not a young/hip crowd as advertised. I've had men harass me in the gym to the point where I needed to leave. Most of the residents don't clean up after themselves or put equipment away. The hallways always smell like weed and I've found drug paraphernalia in the stairwells. I've seen a federal raid go down in broad daylight and there are always cops here. I question how thorough their background and credit checks are.
Other than the false advertisement of "luxury living", what they don't tell you is that this is basically an extended stay apartment building. The office manager rents out the model units as airBnB (even though residents aren't allowed to sublet). So not only do you have sketchy neighbors, but you have people coming and going that know where you live and how to get into your building.
Do not plan on getting your deposit back. We only received a small portion of ours back after threatening to go to small claims court. We had false claims of damage due to wear and tear from how poorly built this place is. If you do decide to brave this place, take a lot of pictures upon inspection to avoid not getting your deposit back and good luck!
