| - What happens when a business hires people without adequate training? Oh, you will find out if you venture to this location. I had a simple question abt my phone upgrade, and they gave me a convoluted answer. I know the whole scam that the phone companies play, you pay a fee upfront, and the actual cost of the phone is factored into your monthly bill. I get that. But my phone provider has a new system (started last week) - and if the phone is $299.99 (for the upgrade), they can spread the payments out. I just wanted to see if Best Buy had the same thing. They price-matched when I initially got my first phone, so i asked them. The girl, apparently did not know what the hell I was talking abt, and instead of admitting it, she went on this rant abt how it's factored into my contract, and this is why my provider could provide this to me. Huh? Like what the hell? I wanted to upgrade 3 phones at the same time, and at $299 a pop, a payment plan is just convenient. All she had to say...we don't have that capability.
The only reason I stopped at this location is because it was close, and that's it.
I can't say much more abt the store. The workers greeted you, but with that complete phony-ness. Why even bother if it pains you to say hello?
I don't see myself going back to this location. But now that I think about it, I don't think it's more of a location issue. It's just a big-box store. I'm sure you all can find cheaper prices online. I can see this going out of business in the near future, just like Circuit City.
