This is my favourite place in the entirety of Toronto. I've gone to this garden since I was about 6 or 7 years old and it really feels like a separate place from the city. In the summer, the flowers are all in bloom and the entire area is pretty much a cultivated garden/field plus some wooded area. Great for photos, painting live landscapes, seeing small animals, and enjoying the fresh air!
In the summer there are also a lot of bridal parties taking photos so it's fun to people watch.
"Upstairs" in the Learning Gardens and the wood trails is a perfect couple spots to picnic! My boyfriend and I brought a picnic lunch one day and found a shady spot on some logs. :)
The best part is the parking and the garden is by donation so it really doesn't cost anything if you don't want it to!
