  • This was my 1st time buying a used car - and I'm so happy with my decision to buy from Prime Auto. Initially I was skeptical because used car dealerships have a notoriously bad reputation. Thank goodness for companies like Autocheck that let you pay a small fee to check the history of the VIN of the vehicle you are considering buying. I scoured the internet looking for a car that would meet our family's needs and Prime Auto had it. I emailed, called, and went in and I asked for their best offer if I paid cash. They made it so EASY! They discounted it to a fair price - well below Kelly Blue Book. I didn't have to do any negotiating. (As a woman buying a car, that is priceless!!) . And overall, the process was easy. Honestly, communication isn't their strong suit. I had to do most of the calling (several times) and emailing (also several times). But they fixed every single thing that was wrong with it before they would let me drive it. They even fixed a small cosmetic thing for free. :) When I went to pick it up (I had already paid for it), the check engine light was on, and they wouldn't let me take it home because they wanted to make sure everything was fixed and working perfectly first. A week later I got it and just to make sure they were being honest, I took it directly to the dealer for a full service, and 18 point check up. Best $800 I spent because they said the car was great and everything was perfect. They said everything that could have been an issue had been recently replaced or repaired and it was in great shape. I was honestly shocked because of the negative reviews others have left about this business. However, all of those reviews were from 3 years ago....so obviously they made some positive improvements. Next year our son will be driving. And Prime Auto will be the first place I go to when looking for his vehicle.
