| - I have been to Wet Republic a few times and the atmosphere and experience can be very variable:
The GOOD
Hot women in Bikinis
Good people watching
Party crowd, everyone in good mood
Good atmosphere and music
The BAD:
Pool was filthy (I swear you can catch something here). Nasty.
At times the crowd is trashy (Nasty women, yea I mean nasty)
The line (Stupid lines that are artificial to make it look cool). We waited one hour to get in with temperatures at 105F. Why dont they sell water !!! Gee no way I am just trailer trash waiting in line to drop 75 dollars for a pool party. . Get on the guest list if you are coming here, otherwise its a bad experience.
Too crowded.. so full there is nowhere to sit or put your stuff. I mean crazy full. Its called greed.
Crime is BAD. I heard lots of stories in the bathroom of people loosing money and valuables
Expensive drinks - Its so bad now its just a rip.. You may as well say here is my wallet, take it all.
Expensive - 75 dollars to get in !!! WTF. They never show the admission price. They give tickets at the entrance to give 10 dollars off then when you get to pay the staff just charge full price. The reduced tickets are a SCAM.
Getting a Drink is a pain in the a..s. Four deep at the bar. WTF. Great buzz killer waiting 20 mins to get a beer when there are hot women to attend to. Cant these places predict the crowd and supply enough staff so we can buy drinks within 5 mins of getting to the bar.
The Hotel need to provide a facility to leave valuables, i.e. credit card, purse, wallet, camera, car keys etc. How can you party in a pool and leave your stuff behind a bush expecting it to be still there when you return!! Cheesy and not practical.
In summary on the right day it can be great, but the wrong day it can be frustrating, cheesy , too expensive and you risk loosing all your stuff.. We should rate these pools by the day of the event. Friday is VERY different to the crowd on Saturday.
Not really impressed. Greed by the hotel. Provide the facilities to match the crowd. If I pay 75 dollars to get into a pool I want service and why not. I am done with this place on weekends.
