| - With all of the places to go on Valentines Day in Las Vegas, my wife and I decided to engorge ourselves at the Bacchanal Buffet 8-)
We went through the VIP line and had no wait. We ordered some waters and juice and began our trek through the maze of foods from all around the world. Near the entrance there were quite a few interesting items I had to try: frog legs 4/5, bone marrow 2/5, fried octopus 4/5, oysters 3/5 very big, a couple plates full of crab legs (get a cracker as they are not easy to peel) 5/5 and plenty of shrimp 4/5. Next we ventured to Asia to try some sushi 4/5, fried shrimp and rice, bao buns and dumplings. Then off to Europe for some pasta and meatballs 4/5, pizza and polish sausage 5/5. After about four plates of food we decided we better head to the desserts before we ran out of room.
For dessert we stayed in Europe and had crepes made fresh with a variety of toppings and some macaroons. On the crepe I topped mine with fried bananas, candied almonds and a caramel sauce. It's a must to top it off with powdered sugar and whipped cream ;-) 5/5
We tried almost all of the dessert items between us including donuts, cream brûlée, cheesecake, chocolate dipped strawberries, cookies, flan, sticky buns, gelato and they also had an assortment of candy bars and candy.
We asked for wheel barrows when leaving but they were fresh out. Thank you Bacchanal Buffet for a World tour.
We decided to walk around the strip after our meal to work off some of the calories we in-took. Not sure how long we would have had to walk to work them all off but at least it was a very pleasant evening with the one I Love.
