Visiting the M I thought about having an all out experience - wanted to go to the fancy restaurant overlooking the strip but after inquiring it sounded like a bit too much seafood for a guy who cannot eat shellfish - Terzetto sounded like a good alternative.
I love a good steak - and Terzetto has a great selection of cuts. I was surprised to see about 5 different cuts of meat to order from along with a list of "prime" selections. I'm a prime kinda guy so I went for the prime. The girlfriend went for the prime rib. But we started with the BLT soup.
The soup was great - it had the richness of bacon and the flavor of a creamy tomato soup. Add a small grilled cheese and it was a nice little appetiser.
Then the meat came. The prime rib looked perfect...a nice pink color and had a little crust of peppercorns along the side. The steak looked great too - charred on the outside to perfection. The first cut in and I could tell how good it was - it sliced like butter. At this point the girlfriend was already enraptured with her prime rib. My first taste was phenomenal - it was rich and buttery and on of the best prime steaks I've had in Vegas. Then to add another notch of greatness there was a horseradish sauce with the prime rib that took it to a taste level not yet achieved anywhere I had been before.
Add in a order of green beans and cheesy bacon tater tots (which are as $#@! amazing as they sound) and we had an exceptional meal. This place is rather pricey though - add in a couple of glasses of wine and we were looking at a bill around $150 with tip for the two of us. I could see myself splurging here again though for sure.
