I've used this airport for a couple of recent trips, and I think it's great. The employees are friendly and the process for getting through security is quick and painless. I did not experience any problems with my first flight. My second flight was delayed due to a freakish hail storm, so I asked an AA employee to book me on another flight the following morning, and he got it done in the blink of an eye. I've experienced so much worse at LaGuardia and O'Hare when a flight is delayed or when I miss a connecting flight. At CMI, I can speak to a real, live, sympathetic employee when things go wrong with my flight. When my flight gets delayed or cancelled at LGA or ORD, I have to go through the hassle of standing in a long, long line and getting the cold shoulder when I finally get the chance to speak to an employee.
If anyone working there is reading this review, one suggestion I'd like to put out there is: please expand your direct flights to include NYC!
