This is my fourth time through Charlotte's airport and the most memorable - not necessarily a bad thing. After a crazy Wednesday attempting to get a seat on a plane and not miss a connecting flight, I did just that - missed my connecting flight. We were delayed one hour in Chicago and when I made it to Charlotte my connecting flight was already one hour into the air. So, here we go.
After scrambling to get off of the flight, American had already accommodated me by booking me onto the very next flight at 8:59 the next morning. All stores and restaurants were closed upon my arrival but I knew I'd have the pleasure of hanging in the airport the next morning. I was pleasantly greeted by the TSA pre-check person with "What's up Jeanene!" That cool familiarity really made me smile. Greeted with a smile by the TSA agent and smooth sailing through security. Once in, the smell of all the delicious food just swept me away!!! Charlotte's airport is small but full of character, stores, and good food. This airport makes it easy to navigate and these rocking chairs are pretty darn awesome!!
Bojangles THOUGH, it's the truth!! Pure delishness!! Remember there was one in Chicago in the 80s.
Five kisses from me!!
