| - I read all these great reviews and was then highly disappointed when I was charged over $500 for a repair I really did not need, all because I said the BMW dealer told me it needed a front wheel bearing. Half way through the repair, I received a phone call from the owner asking why I didn't let them diagnose the problem. I told him I called several days ahead to book the appointment and told the person on the phone what the dealer said. It wasn't mentioned or suggested to let them first diagnose the car. It was also not suggested when I dropped the car off Friday morning. It turns out that I did not need a front wheel bearing, but I did need a rear one. The front one was not looked at until the new one was put on the car. That's when I was told a new one wasn't really need. But it's what you asked for so that's what we did. Too late to put the old one back on, and now I can't return the new part. $588 parts/ labor. Now I need a rear bearing, because that's what the real issue is, and the car is basically dangerous to drive at this point. $388 parts and labor for that repair. I was given a $50 discount on labor for the second repair, but still had to pay full price for the front bearing which the car did not need. Not sure who to trust anymore... The repairs were great, service was great, staff was professional, but again, I was charged for an unnecessary repair all because no one suggested I let them take a look at the car first.
