| - On Wednesday and for our lunch break, my colleague suggested we go to K O'Donnell. She's been there many times before and I haven't yet so we decided to go. Although many restaurants around our office area are usually kind of full between 1-2, I was shocked to find the restaurant almost entirely full at 12:30pm on a weekday, & most people looked like they were not on lunch breaks!
We were asked to wait by the entrance for a few min and then we were seated. The menu is not extensive but has good options. Appetizers, soups and salads, burgers, sandwiches, and main dishes, etc. at first, I was gonna go for a burger with fries, but when I found out from my colleague that they were beer battered, I started looking at the menu again and this is when I saw the fajitas! I've been craving fajitas for a while and I wanted to try fajitas at a new place as I have still not yet found my absolute favorite. I ordered the steak fajitas, I was asked how I would like it cooked, I asked for medium. I then asked for no cheese or refried beans which are two of the many sides that usually come with a fajita.
The food came out pretty quick considering how full the place was! My dish was absolutely delicious. It came with a big dollop of guacamole, sour cream and tomatoes & lettuce. It also came with a lot of rice which. I honestly did not like the rice. It was mushy and cold so I didn't eat it. The fajitas were also served with 4 tortillas, not the usual 3! The portion was just the right size. The food was really great with all the sides. The steak fajitas were $14 which is not too bad. Service was very good and fast so we are definitely going back.
