| - Went here for a late dinner, and it was a really nice surprise!
The establishment was beautifully decorated/integrated into the original brick building, and the ambience was similar to some of the culinary gems I've stumbled across in Europe. The music was kind of an eclectic mix of smooth electronic/trip hop, (Think Massive Attack, Zero Seven, Beats Antique, ect...) and a nice compliment to the overall Euro vibe they had going on.
Our waiter was very friendly too, and knowledgeable about the Serbian food selection. I ended up choosing the stuffed peppers, and they did not disappoint! The use of yellow bell peppers and a sweet and tangy pepper sauce made the dish light and refreshing. Stuffed peppers can be heavy sometimes if the balance of ground beef, rice, and veggies is off, but Intermezzo's proportions were perfect. Presentation was beautiful too, and the serving size generous enough to not think twice about spending $15 on an entrée.
Will definitely be back again, as they've got a pretty chill bar setup, and raving reviews for their sarma!
