This is a five star rating for a dive bar. It's not a place I would take clients the first time you meet them if you work in a "professional" job. They have a large outdoor patio in the summer. There are maybe 8 beers on tap, maybe 12 different cans, and some ciders too, plus liquor. A good variety of different local beers. The music is also interesting, in a good way. It's not a bunch of stuff you've already heard before and seems curated, although that may give the sense that more organization goes into the musical selection than actually does. The staff are friendly as well. I don't think they have a kitchen (just an old kitchen vent that covers the front quarter of the bar), but it's Kensington so there's stuff nearby. The place definitely has character/isn't corny.
