Grits were excellent - spicy, cheesy (or well cheese-like) hominy chunks rather than instant packet grits. Servings are big for sides as well. I rather create my own meal of sides rather than an entree. As a vegetarian, I went between here and Green next door my whole Phoenix stay.
The only thing that stuck out to me was when I ordered a pour over, before I even finished paying I received it. What? One of the main aspects of a pour over is that it's brewed fresh for you, cup by cup. Instead, I got coffee that was already made from a vat or percolator. It tasted rather watery and flavorless. More akin to diner coffee. Okay, maybe the pour over was pre-made and poured cup by cup into a giant vat. Who knows? That is more time consuming than what it's worth. Just sell drip coffee and call it drip coffee and charge less.
