I walked in after work a little before 6:30 on a Friday night--walk-ins are "welcome," or so they claim. The male worker asked what I needed after I signed in and I said that I just need a basic manicure. He gruffly asked if I had an appointment, to which I answered "no." He then smugly said "not tonight. Wait is too long for you." I asked how long the wait would be, as they are advertised as being open until 8. He gestured to about three people seated in the waiting area and said "not tonight. Make appointment from now on."
I would've been fine if not for his attitude. He was rude, smug, and kept turning his back on me. This is not what I consider good customer service, especially given their advertisement of being walk-in friendly. I was willing to give their business my money and even wait to do so, but he squashed that very quickly. I took my business to Luxury Nails down the street and had a much more pleasant experience.
I can't say I will be giving Envy another try any time soon, especially with so many other options in Pittsburgh.
