The Venetian or the Palazzo are my go-to hotels when I'm in Vegas. Every room is a suite with a sunken living room. More space than is needed but it's nice to have. The bathroom has both a large soaking tub and a stand up shower with 2 sinks. I had someone else make my reservation for me this time and I forgot to call the hotel to give them my credit card info...so they canceled my reservation. When I went to check in, I was told the reservation was canceled but they went ahead and reinstated the reservation immediately.
Also, I was dealing with a tired baby when I was checking in and forgot to grab my credit card out of the machine. As soon as I got up to the room, I got a call from the front desk agent letting me know. He said he remembered what my husband looked like as well, so I could send my husband down to get it if I was busy with the baby. How thoughtful! At check in, the agent also let me know that we could request a "medical refrigerator" at no charge so we could keep our baby's food and milk cold.
Every effort was made by hotel staff to ensure our stay was comfortable. Be careful with the bar and snacks in the room, I didn't have any problems but I e heard of other people being charged when they accidentally touched something. The items are on a weight sensor, so if you move anything, it's automatically charged to the room. Didn't make it to the pool this time but other times it's been peaceful and service there is great as well.
So many shops and restaurants to choose from if you want to stay on property and it's in the middle of the strip if you want to explore. It's pricier than some of the other hotels in the area, but definitely worth the extra dollars if you can swing it.
