| - Let me start by saying this place has been super crowded every Friday and Saturday to the point where you can't even find a parking spot. It might have just been like this because it was knew. If you are thinking about going on one of these days you may want to use the "No Wait app."
This place opened around the same time as spoonwood brewing (which is right up the road off of route 88.) They are both amazing choices for dinner and in my opinion the top restaurants in the area. However, I think Mindful brewing may have them beat in the food department. The salmon sandwich my wife had was amazing (apparently it's from the Faroe islands.) I've only had salmon that good one other time, and it was in Iceland. There grass fed burger was also very good, and don't even get me started on how good the macaroni and cheese was.
Most of the items are orgainc and grass fed etc.. I couldn't tell you a healthier and better quality choice in the area. They also have great healthy seasonings and spices along with sea salt, fresh peppercorn, and organic ketchup that doesn't have corn syrup in it.
I personally like the beer at spoonwood a little better, and that is because I am picky with my IPA's. Although they have a great rotating draft menu as well, and I was in no way disappointed in that department.
Overall, I think this place is great. The only drawbacks I can think of is the lack of parking and it is very loud inside (voices echo off of the ceiling.) My wife and I have eaten here twice and will definitely be back.
Update: the no wait app does not work. Sno, I came here for a 3rd time and we used the nap wait app and also called on the way there. The host assured us we would be seated and at the most wait 15 minutes. We arrived 5 minutes later only to be told it was now a 45 minute wait. Halfway through waiting we went to check where we were on the list (Because people behind us were being seated) only to find our name was not entered into the computer to be seated. We had to put our name in again. (Now we are the only ones standing and waiting). The manager gave us a round if drinks and a free app, which was nice. Really sucks, because I really liked this place, and I will probably think twice before coming here in the future. I got up to go to the bathroom before leaving and the bus boy threw out my box of left overs. I just feel like this place has a lot to work on. The kitchen is on point, but other than that, not very impressed.
