  • I had contacted Service One about a broken dishwasher and they reported that initially they would get in touch with us about replacing it. At first contact, we were told that it would be too expensive to replace, so it could be repaired or they would give us $261 toward a new one. We opted to go with the second option and provided them with our top five choices to learn what our out of pocket would be for it. We were provided a quote of $163, inclusive of installation and disposal fee. When I called back to check the status of the order of the dishwasher, they reported that instead of $163, the cost was now $263 due to a clerical error. They were in no way willing to stand by their original quote and take the loss of the $100. An apology was offered, but nothing else.
