Canadian branch of the international American retailer. Unlike their American counterparts, this Sears sells high end brands such as Chanel and Versace. Prices tend to be high and the stereotype that Sears is nothing but a retailer for trailer trash and the NASCAR crowd (prevalent in the American South) is not found here. The Eaton Centre store is the flagship store for the mall and it does offer three floors of apparel and household goods. Foreign tourists can stop by the ground floor customer service desk to get a 10% discount pass for their shopping needs. The chain needs to change with times and offer better pricing for electronics and household goods, or I'm afraid that it will go the way of many American retailers such as Woolworth's, Sterns, and Gimbels in becoming a retail relic.
