| - We are here celebrating my birthday, our anniversary and here for the Rihanna concert... I cannot say enough negative things about this place & I've been wanting to stay here since it opened.... Fail! Celebrating my golden birthday 28 on the 28th... We called and few hours before checking in to make sure our room was ready and that we had everything set and proper and they said it was ready, so we can come early to check check-in.... AWESOME! So we came to check in we got our room, we walked in and there was no shower door, no Jacuzzi tub as promised (which we got for the main reason of my severe back issues, so soaking nightly is necessary), we also told them it was my birthday and our anniversary.... So- they called management and added that to my reservations and nothing was done.... Our room also shared the wall with a dumpster and the laundry dumpster... It was in the back all the way by itself and it was completely disgusting.... we came back inside with all of our bags, belongings and stuff, dinner, hands fuuullll, and as we were walking in to change rooms, hands Sooo full, one of the employees was in front of us, saw us, smiled then she slammed the door in my face, so I shouted "HOW FUCKING RUDE! THANK YOU SO MUCH! What great customer service!".... So we get to the front and they give us a new room... yes this new one has the Jacuzzi tub (but the jets didn't work so my boyfriend had to take apart the screws and pieces to the button for the jets, then when he turned it on, the jets were spraying everywhere!) , but it smells like cigarettes and marijuana, dirty shower, dusty, and totally gross! We will never come back here to stay but... We must say... The bartender Kenny is the best! He is so amazing, talented, experienced, knowledgable and full of fun ideas and great drinks! He caters to you and your wants/likes. Kenny is the only reason we will be returning to Rumor....to have drinks after work with him. We appreciate him and his service. He is the only employee who does his job and then some! He fixes issues that have nothing to do with bar related. He goes and buys his own veggies, fruit and bar needs to make bomb drinks... Why should he be buying that with the money he makes from tips?!?? That's absurd and absolutely not acceptable, but shows his love, passion and dedication for his customers, craft and job!!!! Thank you kenny!!!!! We love you and appreciate your yummy drinks and the great atmosphere you create, with an even better ambiance.
