This mom and pop shop is slightly hidden away on Queens Quay - it was mildly busy on a Friday evening so service was quick and pleasant.
I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. My first impression was that it wasn't much food for the price of $11.95 but the noodles are stacked pretty high so it's quite filling. However, I found that there was too much tamarind sauce. You can also tell the shrimp was simply dethawed and cooked, unwashed. I was left with the grimy unwashed ocean taste in my mouth, and the meat was often lukewarm. As much as I want to support local, the quality of food for the price just isn't worth it. Unless I'm really craving Thai food, I'd trek over to other notable Thai places in town.
