My daughter saw Dr. Sepulveda today. First of all, the woman who checked us in was very kind. We did not wait for very long which was also good. The Medical Assistant was also very nice. Then the Dr. came in.
My daughter had fallen off her scooter and had been crying ever since it happened. She's 9 and was in a lot of pain. The Dr. started laughing and trying to make jokes, which I just chalked up to him being awkward. But he wouldn't stop. He spoke to her like she was a toddler who couldn't understand basic English, it was annoying. However, the most irritating part was after he told us her arm was fractured, he said she needed a splint. I said, not a cast? He said not now. But then he said that She needed to see an orthopedist. I said, when? He responded ..not right now. He was very vague about what I was supposed to do. He apparently was in a hurry to eat his Mc Donald's..which he did at the front desk. Anyway, we left there with no after care instructions. I immediately called an orthopedist and will be taking her somewhere tomorrow.
I was pretty unimpressed.
