| - I'm very picky about jewellery, so my boyfriend and I decided it would be best that I choose a ring myself. I spent weeks searching for the perfect ring, and finally found an antique eternity ring from Paris that I totally fell in love with. It needed resizing and some of the stones needed resetting. Aram did the work, and actually reset every one of the diamonds, all in one day. Only problem is, the new settings are much larger than the old, they're blobby looking, and all uneven, with different shapes. The ring is barely recognizable, and has lost all of its charm. Now we're having to go to the trouble, and much greater expense, of trying to find someone to undo his work, and restore the ring. I just hope it can be done, and that it won't end up costing too much. This was beyond disappointing - at the risk of sounding melodramatic, I'm heartbroken.
If you have a simple repair job, or a ring with a plain metal band that needs resizing, you might be fine with this guy. For anything more complicated, I would recommend going elsewhere.
