I really liked this place from the moment I walked in. They stationed someones grandma at the front door, and she was wonderfully inviting.
I ordered the meatball sub, with provolone and went to sit next door in the seating area. The sandwich came out quickly and had several large meatballs. The meatballs were tasty, but the bread became soggy very quickly. The sauce was missing something and I ended up not eating the second half. I just picked out the meatballs and left the rest.
I will admit that I am a little spoiled by my neighborhood Italian joint, back home. However, this place did not hit the spot for me.
