  • First time here with my family for a late lunch. It was about 345pm on a Sunday. We were seated right away. The server took a while to get our water and orders which was okay since we took a bit to get settled and seated. Let's start out by saying. Customer service really makes or breaks a place no matter how good the food it. My first impression of our server was that she did not want to serve us. She did not offer a smile. She was very monotone and moved about sluggishly. We had children with us (ages 5 and 3). We asked our server how much it would be for our 5 year old she said it would be the SAME AS THE ADULT for AYCE (What the heck!) and our 3 year old was going to be charged $3 for AYCE. Luckily there were lunch bentos that my 5r could have. Fortunately, my 3r loves tamago, so he definitely ate his share. If you are at an all you can eat restaurant where you have to place orders and they have a maximum time limit (45 minutes here) your orders better come out quick and your servers should be quick. Miss attitude was slow and her body language was so negative that we began asking other staff members to help us with our orders. The food was excellent, my compliments to the chef. I really enjoyed the hamachi and wished that I could try their uni (dinner only). Halfway through lunch my 3r had to use the restroom, so I took him to the women's rr. It was clean enough. I always like to leave a comment about rr in any establishment I am reviewing on Yelp. Dirty and cluttered restrooms are a pet peeve of mine. Overall, I'll probably try to come back to sample their uni but I won't be back with my kids since they can't eat the Adult price worth of AYCE food. Oh and my tip to management, hire people who want to help people. If you're in the people business, you need to be a people person. Just being honest! Oh and if you're the type of server to stereotype your guests or customers that you are serving, then you stereotyped the wrong family. We tip good for good service and better for excellent service.
