An essential part of baseball tourism is checking out the MLB team and also hitting up the local batting cages.
This place was packed on a Friday afternoon which suggests quality of training facilities and staff. Air conditioning was very nice.
We did not get lessons but enjoyed the coin op batting cages. It's around $1 per 15 pitches, but discounts for bulk purchases. The machines are very nice and have multiple options in each lane. You can pick baseball or soft ball, and select pitch speed and height. The back drop shows if you hit a homerun, triple, double, or single. Pretty cool.
Only drawback is max speed of 70 mph, probably due to safety I assume. Overall a fun place to hammer some balls.
