I can't say that I've ever been to their original location before it burned down but I heard it was awesome with a great atmosphere.
The new building is kind of unique and sits right on the light rail/trolley line. It must be fun to sit outside and watch the trains/trolley go by.
Anyway, I've been here a few times for lunch and it never disappoints. The Haddock and chips is supurb and best with malt vinegar which is supplied.
The service here is outstanding as well. I've had the same server multiple times and she's friendly, courteous and ready to explain when is best on the menu.
The atmosphere of the restaurants has memorabilia from the UK but I did find it odd that the last visit the music playing was Billy Joel. Shouldn't it have been Elton John? ;)
Another great thing about Big Ben's. They support the LGBT community...note the equality stickers on every door!
