What a treat!
This beautiful resort and spa sits just below Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale. The setting is a tranquil and serene compound of architectural excellence that combines Spanish colonial, hacienda and Mediterranean effects, lush gardens, fountains and courtyards. The accommodations are rustically elegant but well appointed with features such as a nice widescreen TV, fast in-room wifi, a fireplace, a Keurig coffee maker and a sitting area in the patio just outside the room. I can't comment on the value as a friend paid for it. But even if it was $500/night, it would still be worth the splurge. The staff is very friendly and helpful without being over bearing. I didn't take advantage of the spa or swimming pool but if you just want to spend a couple of days being pampered and relaxing with great views of Camelback, this is your place.
