I just purchased a home less than 2 weeks ago and my A.C unit is now out. Oneguard sent out a contractor over and he said because the unit is on the roof he cannot check out the problem. However he sent a note to Oneguard stating that the coil has to be cleaned prior to service! I stayed on hold for an hour and forty five minutes to speak to a representative and explained to them that how would the contractor know the system has to be cleaned when he never saw the system!?? The representative requested for my inspection report which I provided, it clearly noted that A.C was functioning at the time of purchase. Now the problem they have is that they cannot locate a contractor that has a ladder to be able to go to the roof and fix my A.C. I find it hard to believe that in Houston, 4th largest city in USA, you cannot find an A.C company with a ladder to go to the roof. I have paid my $69.00 service fee, I am in ridiculous heat of the summer with no A.C and no repair person to help me. I am very disappointed by this lack of service. Please send this message to your executive complaint department for immediate help and consideration.
