It is located in Boulder City, NV, not in Las Vegas. Just take 215-East from the Strip and it took about 30-40 minutes drive.
We picked the mid-day cruise that was $22 per person. It costed $5 per car to enter the Lead Mead site. We went on Saturday and the boat was boarding on time at noon. It was not crowded at all. They gave out each person a free hotdog ("cold"dog), a bag of chip, and one bottle of water in the lower level of the ship. Since they didn't look very good, we decided to spend some money and get the real food from the bar. We ordered a turkey melt sandwich $6.99 and a glass of bloody mary $8. The bartender put nice amount of vodka in the drink and it tasted very good. Surprisingly, the turkey melt sandwich was very yummy too!
The lake view was awesome. The cruise took about 2 hours in Lake Mead and we could see the back of the Hoover Dam. It was very nice to get away from the casinos and enjoying some nature.
