The third star is for the staff. They are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely laid out but appointed very cheaply with fake veneer wood on most surfaces. The carpet is old and there are no premium channels on the television. The breakfast buffet is good if not a bit expensive for the value. Once again the staff is attentive. They had no clue what salsa was when I asked. We are a thousand miles north of Texas after all. I would probably head for a hotel closer to downtown.
