| - Point Brugge is where I celebrate birthdays and accomplishments, or where I go when I just really need to treat myself! The café has an intimate feel and about a dozen tables, so there is usually a wait during peak hours. They also do not take reservations. But the whole experience is definitely worth the wait. Even so, I like to go for an early or late dinner on a weekday so I can be seated immediately.
Their sandwiches, salads, and entrees are all delicious, but the Moules Frites with classic white wine sauce is my standby. I will never tire of it! You could justify going to Point Brugge just for their desserts too. My favorite is the flourless chocolate cake, which is made fresh by a local baker.
I have only had one bad experience in my countless visits, and it was handled expertly. I had dinner with my sister on a weeknight, and the service was unusually slow. We didn't even complain, but the manager came over to our table, apologized for the wait, and said our meal was on the house that night. It was one of the best customer service experiences of my life!
