  • I have been looking forward to the opening of this location as it is so centrally located just east of downtown Markham. It finally opened in May. The store layout is similar to the Dollarama located at Sherwood Plaza (5694 Hwy 7), except that the hardware section is along the back wall. The width of an aisle seems narrower. I suppose the company wants to display as much inventory as possible, as I can imagine that the rent is expensive here. The interior decor is no frills but clean. The merchandises were neatly displayed on shelves the day I visited. Shopping comfort aside, and I don't care much about that at a store that prices things at $3 and less, the store is well stocked with the typical stapled and seasonal merchandises found at other locations. I like the small things they carry such as 2 types of glues for craft and another 2 types for home repairs. They carry a good selection of kitchen and bathroom supplies, stationery, party supplies, candies, etc.. Parking is easy, especially that the Shoppers Drug Mart at the same plaza has closed.
