  • I don't normally write reviews, I'm a Yelp taker and not a giver. BUT! I couldn't leave and not write about this awesome place. I'm in the beauty industry so I know when someone is paying careful attention to what they're doing and is passionate about it. Melissa did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted and offering her advice when I had a particular question. She was tentative and quite frankly honest with her opinion, unlike a lot of other places who tell you what you want to hear. The salon itself was warm, inviting and spotless. It wasn't cluttered or had too much product on display. The chairs were comfy which only added to the wonderful job that Melissa did in shampooing my hair. Very relaxing! Once we got started, I told her I wanted to chop off the locks in front of my face and be hip with blunt bangs. Bangs! I was a little nervous since I haven't had bangs in a long time (since grade school) but I wanted a change. Melissa made me feel comfortable and confident and walked me through what she was doing. The results were awesome and I felt like a movie star walking out. My hair felt so healthy and full, and oh so shiny. The one bad thing? I couldn't put her in my purse and take her home so she could do my hair everyday. Selfishly, I don't want to share her with everyone but someone so good shouldn't be kept a secret! I'd recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thanks Melissa, you're the best!
